Sentosa Outing on 2 Jan 2010
Hi people. Forgotten to wish all of you a Happy and Blessed New Year. Alright so what's up for the New Year?
Yesterday, took a trip down to Sentosa which is located in Singapore. Yes, it's in Singapore. If you have been there before, then you must be enjoying there. If you have not, come to Singapore and enjoys the lifestyle here, the delicious available of all kinds of food from Japanese to French. But of cause, don't forget about Asia's food. Singapore all day has been summer so it is a great place for sun tanning especially at Sentosa. You can take Sentosa bus from HarbourFront bus interchange, a monorail from Vivocity. Entrance fee is SGD$3. I would recommend either Siloso beach or Palawan beach for sun tanning. But of cause many would prefer Siloso beach.
I was terrible sun tanned with my both arms red and my face was red as well.

Twitter Application Development
Hi everyone, Happy New Year. Year 2010 is here, what are you going to do in 2010 to make a world difference through all issues in 2009 that were left behind (economic, global warming?) I'm quite sure you can develop applications to change the world.
Alright. Today's technology blog post would be Twitter Application Development.
Recently, I'm quite vexed while searching for an appropriate and trusted mobile Twitter application for my Samsung Omnia which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. And I gave up after searching one list since I do not know if the source is reliable and stable to support my mobile phone.
I myself, love to tweet a lot since I've linked my Facebook status to Twitter. So whatever I tweet on my Twitter account, my Facebook status get updated from Twitter. I like Twitter because of its micro-blogging and its lightweight since I can browse it online using the mobile Twitter web version. But I simply dislike browsing Twitter through a web browser because I'm lazy to launch the browser. Well, perhaps I have a business look-alike mind. So yea, launch applications.
Recently I decided to find Twitter API to develop a mobile Twitter application. Guess what, I found this http://c-programming.suite101.com/article.cfm/how_to_use_c_for_twittering for C# programming.
Simply, you can download the framework here, http://code.google.com/p/twitterizer/. Extract the contents in the folder and place the files into a folder, perhaps in your Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (if you are using 2008, 2005 - Microsoft Visual Studio 2005) folder, browse to your project location and place the contents in there.
In your IDE (Integrated Development Environment), simply follow the screenshot below:
Voila, you can browse the framework in the solution explorer for the methods that you can use in the framework such as user login authentication.

Term Holiday
Term holiday just started yesterday. Alright though I can feel a bit of holiday season but I'm still feel numb about Christmas. This Christmas would be a lonely Christmas. The other day, heard an interview about Rainie Yang (杨丞琳) that she is going to have a lonely Christmas. Such an coincidence that I'm also have this feeling. Well oh well, I will be digging myself into assignments.
Well, term holiday is meant to be short and for assignments. Semester holiday would be a real great holiday to find jobs and long vacation. This holiday season, I will be working on 2 assignments, one stock market assignment and the other on world issue. Well, no time for web developments and web designing. Lately, received a news from my business partner, that there's an upcoming freelance project on CMS (Content Management System). Well, I'm procrastinating if I should take up this project or just pass the project to my fellow teammates since we are one programmer team. A way to earn money but 2 assignments on hand.
And why do things have to always come at one go?

It has been a while...
It has been a while due to my absence from blogging world.
Well, oh well, this week is Common Test week. It was said to be a hectic week but I was not as stressful the last time I had my common test in semester 4. Well I guess it must be the internship period mold and prepared me to be in the workforce. Well, in mid-Oct as the new semester commenced, I was quite uncomfortable to be back to school for studies. Perhaps it was the one month of IT helpdesk and 4 months of internship making me realised that I'm ready for the workforce. Well, it was my friends who made me settle down with studies although I'm quite seen to be a little wild this semester. From a workaholic student to the studious student. Every phase of life, I'm ought to learn and be the one. Before common test, also considered to be very hectic because of assignments and research need to be done. For the past one month, I can say that a lot of things happen from household to church to school. First and foremost, church. I'm called to be part of the Chinese Cell Ministry Committee in the advertising and publicity side. Although design to me is not so closed even though I do do web designing but oh yea comes to flyer designing, time to crack my head. Nonetheless, already submitted my design to the committee for approval. This time round, the announcement slide, poster and invitation card, I've designed in the way that they are different. Next is the scholarship applications. Last Sunday, I've submitted my DSTA scholarship application.
Lately, been into some Taiwanese dramas such as Hi My Sweetheart and Miss No Good (2008). Hi My Sweetheart drama is on air in Taiwan at the moment, the only I can catch the drama is through youtube.
Up next is 2 weeks of term holiday. Well, I cannot be idle doing nothing, right? 2 assignments (IS) on hand which boils me up. Trying my best to catch up in photography shoots since I have not really touch my camera for 1 month or so?
Realised one truth that I'm desperate for some things. The experience is what I yearn for.
